Hidden Compartment Detection

This 8 hour basic training course is necessary for every law enforcement officer, detective or supervisor who takes part in patrol, criminal interdiction or investigations. This class will give the student a usable knowledge of different techniques to safely locate and open electronic compartments without injury or permanent damage to the vehicle. The student will leave this course with the basic knowledge associated with identifying signs associated with the potential presence of a hidden compartment, systematic searches, interviewing, liabilities, and current trafficking trends. The student will be instructed via a power point presentation that is kept updated and current with the most recent trends relating to narcotics/money trafficking. This curriculum is proctored by current law enforcement personnel. The Instructors have extensive hands on experience identifying, locating, and opening different types and styles of compartments. They possess the technical knowledge of identifying, operating, bypassing and dismantling electronic actuated motors found in hidden compartments.
