Counter Tactics for Law Enforcement: Surviving an Ambush

Law enforcement officers south of the border have suffered heavy losses due to ambush tactics by drug cartels. As the violence moves north of the border, United States law enforcement needs to be prepared to defend against these types of threats (especially in the border states of California, Arizona, New Mexico & Texas). Domestically, the Federal Bureau of Investigation reported that 27% of American officer's feloniously killed in 2010 were ambushed. In this course, students will learn live fire tactics to defend against multiple types of vehicle and pedestrian ambush attacks. Additionally, overcoming violent counter measures by drug traffickers during load transportation will also be introduced. This course was designed for all law enforcement officers who are concerned about ambush tactics. This includes all local, state, and federal officers. Law Enforcement sensitive information regarding officer ambushes will also be distributed.
