Mexican Cartels, Border Violence and Criminal Interdiction

This course will provide the student with information regarding Mexican drug cartels, drug trafficking organizations (DTO’s) and Narco-Terrorism. It will discuss their direct connection with gangs from the United States and their goals to gain maximum control of US cities and established drug routes to enhance their criminal organizations. This class will include border violence, kidnapping trends, quality of life issues, and both street level and highway drug interdiction.
