Cell Phone Calls and Cell Tower Records for Investigators

March 24, 2011 - March 25, 2011
Suspects using cell phones generate evidence. The non-voice records of cell phone calls are known as Call Detail Records or CDRs, and they are valuable evidence. In our two day workshop you will be given a crime, the related CDRs and the cell tower records to analyze. You will map out the calls and tower locations as you investigate the crime. The course ends with participants presenting their investigation to the rest of the class. Mapping software is included.
