This course addresses the problem of attracting and retaining dispatchers in telecommunication centers. You will learn effective recruitment and retention strategies that have been successfully applied across the country in uniform patrol and will be shown how these methods can be brought into the communications center. The challenges of funding, hiring and training new dispatchers will be discussed and methods of employee motivation and recognition will be identified.
