Determining latent sufficiency (How Much Is There and Is It Enough) is an area of Latent Print Analysis that is one of the most difficult concepts to teach or explain. Also it is a topic that Latent Print Examiners have the most common disagreement with. Over the past 20 years the criteria for determining "how much is enough" has certainly changed from a traditional point of view to today's contemporary view. We will explore this change and see where we are today.
