Residential Crime Prevention

Participants are instructed in the areas of perimeter, exterior and interior security, including lighting, landscaping, windows, locks and alarms. Students participate in residential security surveys, learn how to organize neighborhood watch programs, and understand the importance of crime analysis and code enforcement in crime prevention. In addition to home security, several other topics are covered including agricultural and marine crime prevention, and auto theft prevention programs.
