Heavy Vehicle Crash Reconstruction

This course includes four hours of field testing to demonstrate various braking and acceleration characteristics of heavy vehicles and to allow students the chance to analyze and apply the collected data. Case studies are also used to show how various analytic techniques can be applied to real world crashes. Students review each case study and discuss how it relates to an actual situation. Students are encouraged to bring their own laptop computers for use during class.
