We offer handheld and laptop versions of our ticket writers for police departments with the laptop software designed to work on both normal and touch screen monitors. Both versions gather information by swiping the driver's license and filling out those sections of the citation for you. Once the ticket writing process is finished the citation is printed from a thermal receipt printer that is mounted in the patrol car. Depending on your department's setup, it is possible to export the data from the ticket writers and update the server in near real-time. That information may then be able to be exported to your municipal court's case management software.
