Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. offers standard and expanded family plans for $16 to $26 per month (the exception is New Jersey where it is $9.95) and a one-time application fee of $10. There are unlimited consultations with a network of US and Canadian attorneys, phone calls and letters made on your behalf and a will with yearly updates for no additional fee. There are also motor vehicle defense services, trial defense services for representation in civil suits and job-related criminal charges and for IRS Audits requiring legal representation in court. For legal problems not covered elsewhere in the plan, there is a 25% discount on the typical hourly rate. The Law Officers Legal Plan covers the officer and his family. It includes preventive legal services as well as administrative and termination hearing representation, trial defense services, tragic accident representation, IRS Audit Legal Services and 25% discount on legal assistance & litigation.
