Graff had served seven years with the school district's police force and previously spent 29 years with the Douglasville Police Department in Georgia.

A police sergeant for Pinellas County Schools died on duty after suffering a medical emergency Wednesday, officials said.
Sgt. Greg Graff was participating in indoor classroom training at Clearwater High School after an active assailant exercise earlier in the day when he collapsed and was taken to the hospital, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release. He was pronounced dead about 4:14 p.m.
Graff, 61, had worked for Pinellas County Schools Police for seven years. Before that, he spent 29 years at the Douglasville Police Department in Georgia, according to the news release.
He is survived by his wife, three children and six grandchildren. A procession was planned from Morton Plant Hospital to the Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Home in Holiday on Wednesday evening. Intermittent traffic delays were expected until around 8 p.m.
