The body of a Georgia police officer who was killed during his first shift over the weekend was escorted home Monday.
Alamo Police Officer Dylan Harrison was gunned down outside the department early Saturday. Harrison was working his first shift as a part-time officer at the time.
During Monday's procession, Harrison's body was taken from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Crime Lab in Atlanta to Dublin, where the officer lived. The escort included Georgia State Patrol troopers and members of other law enforcement agencies.
