The 38th Annual National Peace Officers' Memorial Service, sponsored by the Grand Lodge Fraternal Order of Police and the Grand Lodge Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary, will be held on the West Front of the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C. Wednesday morning.

The Service begins at 11:00 a.m. and is expected to run approximately 2 hours and is expected to include an address by President Donald Trump.

In tribute to American law enforcement officers, as part of the historic crime bill that President Clinton signed into law in 1994, Public Law 103-322 designates Peace Officers Memorial Day (May 15) as one of only two days each year during which government agencies, businesses, and residents are to fly their U.S. flags at half-staff.
