Fallen NYPD Detective Remembered

Family and friends gathered Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Bay Shore to remember NYPD Detective Tommy Merriweather on the fifth anniversary of his death. Merriweather sifted through World Trade Center rubble searching for human remains and later developed cancer as a result and died of the disease.
