Two Officers Embark on 420-Mile Run to Honor Fallen Cops

Officers Joe Cirrito and Kristina Tudor are on a 12-day journey, running in their full police uniforms which weigh about 35 pounds, from Los Angeles to Sacramento to honor their fallen colleagues.

Two California police officers are running from Los Angeles to Sacramento to honor their fallen colleagues. Joe Cirrito and Kristina Tudor are on a 12-day journey, running in their full police uniforms which weigh about 35 pounds. The 420-mile trek is called Project Endure and it will raise money for 2 charities that support fallen officers' families. Officer Cirrito is inspired by his friend Dominick Pezzulo, a Port Authority Police Officer who died in the September 11th attacks in New York.
