Washington City Sues OxyContin Maker for Opioid Epidemic

The city of Everett in Washington state is suing Purdue Pharma, maker of OxyContin, in an unusual case that alleges the drugmaker knowingly allowed pills to be funneled into the black market in Everett, helping launch an opioid epidemic.
