Sheriff: Suspect in Deputy-Involved Shooting 'Not the Victim'

Jefferson Parrish Sheriff Newell Normand said during a news conference Wednesday that his deputy is the victim after the suspect pulled the trigger on a firearm he had and tried to kill the deputy, but the weapon malfunctioned.
