ICS Sequential LED Road Safety Flare

Nov. 15, 2017

Pi Variables, Inc. manufactures (in California) the Pi-Lit® line of sequential-flashing electronic LED road flares. This novel (and patented) technology allows for a “string” of LED flares to flash in sequential fashion. This provides both warning and guidance to the approaching driver. The sequential nature of the flashing flares convey “follow me” to the confused driver.  Furthermore, the dynamic action of the sequential pattern makes the group of flares much more visible from a distance.  The Ice Cream Sandwich sequential flare (named for its shaped that is similar to an ice cream bar) communicates to its neighbors using 2.4GHz radio frequency signals, is crushproof, rainproof, and powered by rechargeable lithium batteries providing 20-30 hours of continuous flashing. Charge time is 4 hours using either car or wall adapter. The ICS flare is available in sets of 10 and 6, any colors include blue, red, orange, amber, green, etc.
