Portland police named Christina E. Reed, 26, as the driver arrested early Saturday after striking a police car in Southeast Portland.
Reed was booked into Multnomah County Jail on charges of DUII and reckless driving, Portland police said Saturday night. Jail records indicate she was released on her own recognizance.
The incident occurred at 12:42 a.m. in the area of Southeast 170th Avenue and Haig Street. The officer, who was out of the car speaking to someone, heard a vehicle approaching fast.
The officer stepped out of the way as the driver sideswiped the police car. The suspect kept going but finally stopped. Police said no one was injured.
