Orlando police said a 56-year-old was driving under the influence when he crashed into an Orange County deputy's parked patrol car late Monday night.
David Berry was still in the driver's seat of his Ford Mustang when police responded to the deputy's home near Lake Underhill. A report said Berry's eyes were bloodshot, his speech slurred, and he smelled like alcohol.
Berry told police he took a Xanax and went to McDonald's for dinner, his arrest report said.
While Berry stood in front of Orlando police, he swayed and leaned forward so much that he stumbled into an officer three times, the report said.
Berry refused to perform sobriety exercises, and later refused to provide a breath sample.
He was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence and booked into the Orange County Jail early Tuesday.
