Police in Pennsylvania are trying to sort out details involving an ambulance driver who allegedly held a co-worker against his will and led authorities on a pursuit.
The incident began, Philly CBS Local reported, when police spotted the ambulance in an area where it shouldn’t have been. It was supposed to be at a hospital for a transport.
NovoCare Ambulance authorities contacted the crew, and inquired about their whereabouts, the station reported.
Using a GPS device, however, authorities knew the location they gave wasn't true. They told them to head back to headquarters in Norristown.
That's when the pursuit started, and the other ambulance attendant called police to say he was being held against his will, according to the station.
The ambulance finally stopped in East Oak Lane.
The investigation continues, and police are sorting out the incident.
No charges have been filed.
