Incorporating Extreme's DHC-Imaging technology, REG-L1 delivers definitive high-contrast license plate capture for technical surveillance applications. Based on technology currently in large-scale application in London, Stockholm and the United States, REG-L1 operates under any lighting condition, from total darkness to direct glare from high-beam headlights, capturing plates from vehicles moving at up to 1100mph. High-efficiency 12VDC/24VAC operation enables low-voltage operation, even for distances up to 75 feet. The DHC-Imaging engine in REG-L1 has the unique capability to capture images of new Digital License Plates (DLP), widely regarded to be the future standard format of license plates.
