On April 21, 2022, Bell Gardens Police Department made application to the National Public Safety Drone Donation Program NPS-DDP.org for a free drone. The department explained why the drone would help protect the communities they serve. A local business owner and real estate developer, Kristi Cirtwill CEO and owner of Cirtwill Investments and founder of HoarderHomes.com contacted the NPS-DDP.org foundation and offered to supply a very advanced starter drone kit for this particular department. This new lifesaving technology has proven to be valuable asset to other departments across the country and is sure to help save lives and property within the Bell Gardens community. As a direct result of her generosity, two other companies that have support NPS-DDP in the past are also going to be making hardware and software donations. We encourage private citizens and any company including public safety to contact us to recycle any unused UAV back into service. If any of the drones that we receive are not suitable for public safety we have partnered with women and drones to donate these types of drones to STEM programs across the country to help benefit youth education.
