MONDAY

In North Carolina, two thieves broke into an auto at 9:37 AM and stole an Assisted Patrol bait tablet. Assisted Patrol took great photos of the suspects. GPS allowed officers to track the suspects and arrest them 30 minutes later. They will each be charged with a felony.

The thieves damaged the tablet case trying to power it on. They thought the device was turned off when in fact the screen was locked and the power switch was disabled. However, the system was recording photos and GPS locations. No worry for the department. Assisted Patrol sent out a FREE replacement unit the next day. We replace, damaged, lost or destroyed units for FREE!

TUESDAY

In Ohio, police placed an Assisted Patrol on a delivery truck. At 4:03 PM, about an hour after the package was left on the target front porch, it was stolen. Officers made the arrest and recovered other stolen items totaling almost $4,000. An ongoing investigation has begun to look deeper into the theft ring. This appears to be the beginning of the investigation.
