Icom America Releases New IDAS™ F5360D Mobile Radio Series for NXDN™ Type-C Trunking

Icom America introduces the F5360D/F6360D, a new VHF/UHF mobile radio series compatible with the NXDN™ Type-C protocol.

KIRKLAND, Wash. – Icom America introduces the F5360D/F6360D, a new VHF/UHF mobile radio series compatible with the NXDN™ Type-C protocol. The new IDAS™ F5360D Series provides wide area coverage and features an integrated GPS receiver and intuitive user interface. Icom's new radio is the mobile companion to the company's new Type-C F3360D handheld series.

The new Icom F5360D Series supports NXDN Type-C trunking and NXDN conventional systems. The radio's menu-driven interface promotes fast access to functions such as paging, broadcast and emergency calls. A built-in GPS receiver allows users to attach current position data to voice or data transmission (external GPS antenna required). Other F5360D/F6360D features include 15-bit digital scrambler, Mil-Spec construction and a D-Sub accessory connector for securing various external devices. The radio supports 512 channels/1280 zones and is supplied with the following accessories: hand microphone, DC power cable, mounting bracket kit and microphone hanger.
