For The Record has today proven the speed of its FALCON technology in an impressive demonstration at the American Judges Association Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The demonstration involved 5 AAERT Certified Transcribers working from home across the USA to produce a live transcript of Professor Fred Lederer's lecture "Court and Courtroom Technology in the Age of the Cloud and iPad".

Using FTR's FALCON platform, the transcribers were able to receive audio securely over the internet only seconds behind the spoken word.  The jobs were created from an online order in Transcript ExpressRecordings and log notes were created on site by an E-Reporter at the AJA Conference at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas, Nevada. Packages of digital content arrived directly in the transcribers' FTR Player 6 (beta release) application in real time thanks to the in-built LiveCopy transfer technology.

Averaging under 20 minutes per 5 minute job, the transcribers were able to transcribe and return their produced work - all from the comfort of their home office.

The average production was below 20 minutes per 5 minute job. Professor Lederer received the final, proofed and certified digital transcript just over 2 hours after his lecture finished.
