The Criterion HPS Password Cracking Xccelerator computationally dense high performance platform has the processing power providing a brute-force password cracking solution for today’s complex passwords. The solution can operate in a data center or as a mobile solution that can be transported into the field. In a government test, the Criterion HPS Password Cracking Xccelerator achieved more than 25 times improvement over their existing brute-force password cracking capability. The device sustained a performance of 750,000 hash calcs/second and achieved a peak level of 1.2 million hash calcs/second during the test.
