WECU Surveillance has created a ruggedized, scalable, configurable and customizable Enterprise Class Mobile Video and Audio recording solution for law enforcement applications. The system scales from 1 to 16 channels of High Resolution Video with perfectly synchronized audio on every channel. Optional Professional Grade Microphones coupled with Noise Cancellation DSPs ensures prisoner conversations are recorded with evidence grade clarity. Sensitive microphones pickup prisoner conversations down to a whisper and when used in conjunction with our Professional Grade Noise Cancellation DSPs efficiently remove environmental noise so those whispers can be heard and understood in playback - or live via wired or wireless headsets which can be used by officers while the vehicle is in operation. The Officer headset works in conjunction with the 10" or 15" Sun-light Readable Touch Screen monitor (no keyboard or mice required).
Through the Touch Screen Monitor the Officer has the ability to:
- Tag an event/time during transport for later review
- Instant image capture all cameras simultaneously
- Live view of 1 or all cameras and instant playback to review suspicious activity
- Single or multi-channel playback at slow speed, normal speed or fast speed
- Listen to one or more prisoners in real-time, playback, or instant playback mode

- Simple Touch Screen Interface: Simple 9-button Touch Screen Graphical User Interface provides the Officer all of the system controls needed while preventing access to the Operating System.
- Ultra-reliable Recording: Video with perfectly synchronized audio recording runs as a Windows Service fully independent of the Graphical User Interface. Officers cannot accidentally pause or stop video or audio recording during transport
- Single or Multiplexed Audio: Graphical User Interface enables selection of one or multiple channels of audio in both live and playback modes allowing the Officer to monitor all conversations perfectly synchronized with associated video
- Single touch all channel image capture: Image capture button instantly captures and saves a still image from all cameras for simplified incident investigation
- Event Flag: Event flag button places a marker on recorded video to make finding an incident easier during the investigation
- High Security Omni-directional Microphones: Omni-directional microphones require 0.125 inch hole to pick-up sound between 100Hz and 16KHz with adjustable Low-Cut and Hi-Pass filters. Microphones also support adjustable gain for fine tuning to the vehicle environment
- Digital Signal Processor (DSP) based Noise Cancellation: Multi-environment and configurable DSP mitigates environmental noise from all vehicle types and roadways while amplifying the human voice providing clear and discernible voice recordings
- Sunlight readable Touch Screen Monitor: Adjustable brightness, ruggedized, sunlight readable touch screen monitor (10.1”- 700 NIT, 15”- 1000 NIT) enables operation day and night in all lighting conditions
- Scalable: Button size can be scaled to 10.1” and 15” monitors
- Multiple Camera options: Multiple high resolution camera styles are available to accommodate any vehicle type including: interior board cameras, interior/exterior vandal resistance dome and wedge cameras, side view cameras, backup cameras, Pan Tilt Zoom, etc. All camera models support Day/Night low light operations with several models having built-in IR to enable night operations with no white light
- GPS Tracking: Optional real-time Vehicle GPS tracking with rules to raise an alarm if the vehicle deviates from the designated route, speed, or encounters a hard stop or collision
- Panic Button: Optional Panic button/s in vehicle provide immediate notification to dispatch of a vehicle or prisoner emergency
- Remote Video/Audio viewing: 4G cellular option provides dispatch remote access of audio/video while the vehicle is in operation
- Two way Audio: Using 4G cellular dispatch can send/receive audio from the vehicle. Audio in the vehicle can be played over the Officer headset or to loud speakers
- Full function Touch Screen, Mouse/Keyboard Interface: Intuitive search, playback and archive user interface for administration and ground side operations through touch screen and/or mouse and keyboard
- Auto Archive to Ground Storage: Wireless and Ground Side Archive Server options automatically detect and connect the vehicle recorder to the Ground Storage Server and archive/synchronize all recorded Video/Audio for long term evidence retention – eliminating manual archive processes saving man-hours and dramatically reducing the likelihood of data loss
- Multi-channel support: Software supports 1 to 16 channels of video with video and displays in Officer selectable layouts of 1, 4, 9 16 windows
