Verbatim Corporation has differentiated its FireLite XPress palm-sized portable hard drive with a always-on display that provides valuable time-saving and convenience features. The innovative display enables them to verify the user-designated name of the drive, user-defined text for content description and more without having to plug it into a PC. With the included software, users can adjust the information that is shown on the screen and how it is displayed. Displayed information can include the user-designated drive name, a table of contents with the last date that information was saved and the remaining capacity available. Featuring sleek, magnesium alloy casings for durability, FireLite XPress drives measure 3.3 inches by 5.1 inches by 0.9 inches and weigh about 10 ounces.
