Rontal Applications Ltd. announced a personal digital assistant (PDA)-based handheld extension to its SimGuard incident management system. The PDA-based solution allows SimGuard's operators to transmit a real time updated situation picture, including instructions and high-resolution images and/or video clips, to field security employees and to managers in the field during emergency situations. The timely and geographically accurate information enables dispatched teams to quickly achieve full situation awareness, complete understanding and to respond in the best way to any given incident.
