COFDM RF-based video transmitters ' receivers

Jan. 8, 2008

SEMCO's line of RF-based video transmitters and receivers has much superior performance in non-line-of-sight (NLOS) and severe multi-path environments. COFDM utilizes much less of the available spectrum. When operating in the normal narrowband mode (2.5 MHz), the COFDM video link can operate eight digital channels in the band occupied by a single analog channel. The CODFM is superior to Analog RF because it has a much more secure encryption routine, at a much lower cost, and with better overall performance. SEMCO's system also has precision RF remote control of all camera functions, high resolution, day/night analog cameras and broadcast quality analog or digital, among other features.
As the new SEMCO/Sprint Video Surveillance System is modular in design, it is simple to convert an existing .RF-only.system to a combination of RF and IP. 32-bit ABS encryption is standard. 128/256 AES encryption is optional.
