    Recently, Microsoft announced it is discontinuing support of its Windows 2000 operating system in 2010. Because of this, Dynamic Instruments Inc. is upgrading to a Windows XP operating system on all it's recorders. Moving all of its digital voice recorders to the Windows XP operating system will negate any potential obsolescence. Additional benefits derived from this move are complete ongoing support of the operating system by Microsoft, leading technological advances and remote access.
