BelAir Networks has expanded its family of flexible multi-radio wireless infrastructure products with the release of an access radio module for its BelAir100 and BelAir200 wireless networking systems. The 802.11g Access Radio Module 2 (ARM2) enables service providers to run multiple, secure, high-capacity applications on BelAir's multi-service, cellular LAN architecture. It operates in the 2.4 GHz band, supports data rates up to 54 Mbps in 802.11g mode and is compatible with the large installed base of 11 Mbps 802.11b client devices. BelAir Networks has also made available the Backhaul Radio Module 2 (BRM2) which is designed as an option for both the BelAir100 and BelAir200 wireless networking systems. The BRM2 supports data rates up to 54 Mbps in the 5 GHz band. It includes Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) and Transmit Power Control (TPC) for the 5 GHz band.
