Deputy Known as 'Bob the Bike Guy' Gives Kids Their First Set of Wheels

Robert Charland is known as "Bob the Bike Guy." His organization Pedal Thru Youth has repaired and donated more than 1,200 bicycles to kids in Massachusetts and Connecticut. He started 14 years ago when he was asked to fix a few bikes for homeless children. He's been doing it ever since, and after receiving a devastating diagnosis, making kids smiles has become his life's mission. He partners with law enforcement agencies to get the bikes riding-ready and out to schools.
