N.C. City: Police, Firefighters Must be Vaccinated for Promotions

The new policy for Raleigh police comes after the city announced it would require all municipal employees must be vaccinated by Friday or submit to weekly testing.
Beginning next year, a North Carolina city will require police officers and firefighters must be vaccinated if they want to be promoted.
The new policy in Raleigh applies to all city employees, WNCN-TV reports. Police and firefighters must be fully vaccinated in order to be eligible for promotion.
This requirement follows a month after the city announced it would require all municipal employees to be vaccinated by Friday or submit to weekly testing.
Religious and medical exemptions will be reviewed on an individual basis.
