Flames Engulf Police Station as Fire Sweeps Through Texas City
A police station was engulfed by flames as a massive blaze swept through a Texas city Thursday.
Video footage showed a fire burning through the Ranger police station and other historic buildings in the city, including a 100-year-old church, WFAA-TV reports. Crews worked to extinguish the flames that raged through the Eastland County city, which has a population of nearly 2,500 people.
A barbecue pit and high winds are believed to be the source of the large fire. The blaze was not related to the massive Eastland Complex wildfire, which has burned over 38,000 acres
