Project Description
In a dynamic partnership with the Village of Woodridge, delivered the foundational phase of an ambitious 27-acre municipal campus, setting a new benchmark for integrated public services. This initial phase consolidates critical infrastructure into a cohesive and highly efficient hub, featuring a cutting-edge new police station and a vital salt and municipal storage facility, expertly planned to seamlessly integrate with a future public works complex.
The heart of this development is the 32,000 sq. ft. police station, a testament to forward-thinking design. Beyond its impressive scale, the facility is a direct architectural translation of the Woodridge Police Department’s operational and administrative philosophies. It boasts a secure holding area, modern officer amenities, and inclusive locker rooms – fostering an environment that prioritizes staff well-being and operational excellence. Administrative offices are thoughtfully integrated, alongside significantly increased storage spaces, ensuring optimal functionality. Demonstrating a commitment to sustainability, the facility is efficiently heated and cooled by a state-of-the-art geothermal system, dramatically reducing the Village’s environmental footprint and operational costs.
Our commitment and expertise extended beyond the building’s walls. The firm conducted exhaustive evaluations of salt storage structures, engaged in intense coordination with civil engineers to address complex site requirements, and optimized the campus for superior vehicle access and operational flow. This comprehensive planning ensures the current facilities function flawlessly while laying the groundwork for the future public works facility, guaranteeing the long-term success and efficiency of this vital civic asset. This project is more than a police station; it’s a strategic investment in the Village of Woodridge’s future, showcasing innovative design and unparalleled collaborative execution.
