The Phillipsburg Police Department is encouraging residents to make this Valentine’s Day memorable and to “skip the chocolates and flowers.”

Tell the police department the location and description of the person with the active warrant, and they will “have just the thing” to make this Valentine’s Day one to remember.

“Our officers will gladly hand-deliver a very special Valentine … complete with a complimentary ride to the Warren County Jail,” the department posted to its Facebook.

Tipsters can use the police department’s online portal or call 908-835-2002 to inform town officials about any non-emergency issues, complaints or questions they may have.
