CALIFORNIA-Police Officer Jimmy Inn, of the Stockton Police Department, May 11, 2021. Officer Inn was killed while he was responding to a domestic violence incident. As he approached the door, a man opened fire, fatally shooting him. Another officer exchanged gun fire with the suspect who then grabbed a child and began strangling him. A bystander tackled the suspect and officers shot and killed him.
Officer Inn was taken to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. He served with the Stockton Police Department for six years and is survived by his wife and children.
