Tulsa Officer Who was Shot in June Returns to Work

Officer returns to work after being shot in June.

TULSA-In June, Officer Aurash Zarkeshan was shot during a routine traffic stop. During that same incident, Sergeant Craig Johnson was shot and killed. Monday, Officer Zarkeshan returned to work. Currently, he is assigned to light duty after being at a Colorado rehabilitation facility.

The suspect who shot Officer Zarkeshan, David Ware, plead not guilty to the following charges: first-degree murder, shooting with the intent to kill, possession of a firearm after committing a felony, obstructing a peace officer, and possession of a controlled substance.
