A man convicted of killing a Dent County, Missouri Sheriff's deputy and two other people 13 years ago is scheduled to be put to death this week.
The execution of Earl Forrest is scheduled to take place between 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 11 and 5:59 p.m. Thursday, May 12, according to KOLR-TV.
Forrest shot and killed Deputy Sharon Joann Barnes in December 2002 when she responded to his home after he killed Harriet Smith and Michael Wells. He also shot Dent County Sheriff Bob Wofford and his girlfriend, Angela Gamblin, both of whom survived.
He was sentenced to death for each of the three murders.
