The Apprehender Cuffing Baton (CB-01) from RMB Industries Inc. provides distinct advantages in the arena of force options. This patented Cuffing Baton technology provides leveraged control as an alternative to pain compliance. It provides greater safety and greater control. The innovative design combines a distinctive "y" shaped yoke with a fully integrated handcuff that is automatically triggered and remotely controlled. These dual characteristics, the yoke and the handcuff, provide the officer with a superior means of controlling a subject. The officer can gain control whether or not the subject is willing to comply. Other batons are developed in support of pain compliance - given enough pain; the subject will comply. The Apprehender is designed to enhance the ability of the officer to control a subject. This is safer for the officer and the subject, and more palatable to the public - both in the media and in the courtroom.
