The Model 870 MAX (maximum options) is a true tactical shotgun from Remington Arms. The platform is a rugged, parkerized, 18-inch barrel 870 LE shotgun. It features a Wilson Combat ghost ring/XS sight system that includes the XS interchangeable sight. It has a Speedfeed IV-S full pistol grip buttstock with a 13-inch length-of-pull for ease of handling and shouldering when wearing a vest. The 870 MAX also features a SureFire tactical fore-end flashlight with momentary pressure pad and toggle switch on/off applications. Remington's R3 recoil pad lessens the felt recoil and helps recovery for follow-up shots. It also has a two-shot magazine extension tube.
