Luxfer carbon composite cylinders for medical oxygen weigh up to 80 percent less than steel cylinders and 40 percent less than aluminum cylinders of equivalent capacity. In fact, they are the lightest-weight high-pressure oxygen cylinders in the world. Luxfer's composite oxygen cylinders operate at 3,000 PSI and are availble in capacities ranging from 4 to 66 cubic feet of oxygen.
