With an extra battery and a carry case, this light will move with you, through the work day. The 9420XL LED’s easy carry shoulder strap lets you sling the light over your shoulder and is great for contractors and field service workers. The Pelican 9420XL LED is equipped with two LEDS that generate 1000 lumens of light on high for a runtime of up to 4 hours on low. It has a 90 degree pivoting head to direct the light where you need it. To deploy the 9420XL LED, unlock the legs by rotating the leg latching collar in the direction of the arrow. Once the three legs have released, move the deployment collar downwards to form a sturdy tripod base. Slide the deployment collar into the recess on the track to hold it in place. To operate the mast, release the extension pole clamps and raise the mast to the desired height. The on/off switch includes a battery status indicator that lights up when the light is activated. The display will turn green when the battery is above 50%, amber when the battery is below 50% and red when the battery is in need of charging. The light comes with a blow-molded case, DC vehicle charger, AC main charger with transformer, a charging station, an easy-carry shoulder strap and two lithium ion batteries. To charge the battery, first remove the battery from the base of the product by pulling on the battery while pressing the two yellow latches. Insert the battery into the charger by aligning the yellow tabs on the top of the battery pack with the yellow charger latches. Secure the battery using the latches and observe the LED status. The LED should turn from SOLID RED to FLASHING RED to indicate the start of the charge cycle. The LED will change to SOLID GREEN when charging is complete.
