Texas Officer Hits Pedestrian in Crosswalk

An Austin police officer has been suspended for hitting a pedestrian in a crosswalk with his patrol car. KXAN has obtained the in car camera video of this incident - which highlights an issue with distracted driving - and pedestrian safety in Austin. So far this year, 19 pedestrians have been killed in crashes with automobiles and as you're about to see- no one is immune to the danger.
