La Boit worked closely with law enforcement officials to ensure its 30-foot mobile bomb squad command center unit would have every feature and function desired. The unit is completely self sufficient with an 8,000 watt diesel generator as well as landline inlets. Special features on the exterior of this unit include two removable telescoping tripod 350 watt lights mounted to the rear of the unit, front and rear bumpers with 16,500 pound winch and D-rings, dual ramps and roll up doors for loading and transporting and an emergency hatch exit on the roof, red and blue emergency LED strobe lights and scene lights. The interior has one 15-inch flat panel monitoring TV, DVD player/recorder, mini fridge, freezer, FMVSS approved folding seats with 3 point seat belts, a map viewing/storage stations, and a specially vented closet to store bomb suits and SCBA tanks. There are two air conditioners, 12 additional electrical outlets and a video camera for backing up.
