Ray Johnson hired to manage Armament Systems’ southeast territory

Appleton, WI, July 6, 2023—Armament Systems and Procedures (ASP), a leading provider of law enforcement equipment and tactical training, has hired Ray Johnson as the new Director of Sales for the southeast US region. Johnson will be responsible for law enforcement agency and distributor relationships in the Carolinas, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Florida.

Mr. Johnson has a background in military, law enforcement and private security training. During his military career, he served in Desert Storm/Desert Shield, and taught nuclear, biological and chemical warfare survivability. In recent years, he has served as a law enforcement firearms instructor, as well as an ASP law enforcement Trainer. “We have had the benefit of knowing Ray and seeing his work as a Trainer and leader for years,” says Daryell Harmon, ASP’s Vice President of Sales. “So when a Sales Director position opened in his part of the country, Ray was high on the list of people we wanted to talk to.”

Harmon says that Johnson has contagious passion for the brand, boundless energy, and mastery of all of the company’s product and training subject matter. “Our dedicated sales team wears a lot of hats,” he says. “Sales Directors are responsible for distributor and agency relationships, assisting the organization of our law enforcement training programs, and more.” Harmon concludes that “Ray is a natural for this position.”

Johnson resides in Florida, which will be his base of operations in his new role at ASP.
