FirstNet Planning Services

Televate LLC launched its FirstNet Planning Services offering. FirstNet Planning Services are designed to support and assist public safety, state, local and federal agencies, and their potential private and non-profit sector partners in preparation for the Nationwide Public Safety Broadband Network (NPSBN).  

Televate’s FirstNet Services provide:

• Implementation strategies, including NTIA RFI response preparation
• Asset Inventory and Evaluation
• System Design
• Financial Modeling and Cost Analysis
• Private Partnership Evaluation
• Grant and Funding Support
• Program Management

The core of Televate’s FirstNet Services was developed over the course of several successful large metropolitan area broadband projects, including the nation’s first public safety broadband network launched in the District of Columbia in 2004.  More recently, Televate assisted the State of Minnesota in its comprehensive public safety broadband study released last month and considered a Best Practice case study for future public safety broadband planning and implementation efforts.
