LESOCOM

Dec. 12, 2011

The LESOCOM from Colt Defense offers law enforcement personnel a weapon system that is nearly identical to what is currently packaged for the United States government.

Differentiated only by the longer barrel length and the semi-automatic fire controls, Colt's LESOCOM is the closest rifle to the M4A1 platform issued by the United States Armed Forces. With an extended stock, this M4 carbine has an overall length of 35 inches, 16.1 accounted for in the barrel.

Offered in an anodized black finish, this tactical rifle comes out of the box ready to shoot, chambered in 5.56 x 45 NATO (.223 Remington) with a Matech rear back-up iron sight for acquiring distances of 600-meters, effectively. For left-handed shooters, an ambidextrous fire control selector comes as standard issue.

Also standard on the Colt LESOCOM rifle is a Knights™ Armament Rail System with the capability to be outfitted with the user’s preferred optics and accessories at the three, six, nine and 12 o’clock positions.
